The project is situated on the island of Crete near the island’s capital of Heraklion. The landscape complete with sudden mountains, olive trees famous for its healthy olive oil, wine yards with indigenous varieties and crystal clear turquoise sea fading into the depths of an indigo blue, where the waters meet the sky.
Crete is steeped in mythology, including the myth of Theseus and the Minotaur- hence the name Theseus Beach Village.
The climate in Crete is primarily Mediterranean and enjoys 340 sunny days a year. The average temperature in the summer is 25°C-30°C, while winters are mild between 12°C-17°C. The ideal micro climate in the area where the project is located has the benefit of low humidity as a result of the pleasant breeze.

Theseus Beach Village is located 20km from Heraklion in the middle of Crete that gives easy access to many surrounding places in the area. The city of Heraklion gives you a variety of activities including the Archaeological Museum, the Natural History Museum of Crete, the Cultural Conference Center of Heraklion for cultural events and also the open markets.
You can explore the place by tasting the Cretan Cuisine with incredible flavours and fresh local ingredients all topped with famous Cretan olive oil. In a short distance you can feel the fascinating history of the Minoan civilization at the Knossos Palace. Crete is well known for its wine yards and most vineries organize walking tours and wine tasting at their grounds. Intact gems of beaches with emerald waters, canyons, dramatic gorges, castles and monasteries are all around the project to explore. The Crete 18-hole Golf Club is located 39km away and is one of the most impressive courses of the Mediterranean. The island combines a vibrant nightlife, fascinating culture and outdoor nature activities that make any stay seem far too short.
The project is located only 23km from the international airport ‘’Nikos Kazantzakis’’, which is one of the most busy airports in Greece with 20 airline connections to major European cities and 20 daily flights from/to Athens, the capital of Greece. Also, we are located 20km from the port of Heraklion where ferry boats ship daily to Piraeus port. Construction of a new airport has recently started in Heraklion.
